This as they say is a game of two halves, each team will get a chance to attack the castle as well as defend it, there is only one set of points up for grabs over both legs so it really counts to have a good first leg.
Set high in the tree line are the three crow's nests with your (hopefully) best marksman in them, as they have the advantage of looking down on the attackers. No one said defending was easy, the only way out for the defending team is straight to the elimination zone.
The one of the newest paintball fields at the jungle, opened summer 2005 is the aptly named Wild Wild West. The Wild West field is amazing, even if we do say so ourselves! The Wild Wild West is a 50 metre long, 5 metre wide street scene, it could be out of those old spaghetti Western's you may have watched.
It's a game of choice, we can play the Wild Wild West in a range of ways:
- We have 20 gold bullion bars the bandits have to steal from the bank.
- You may play the Church going locals who find themselves under siege from the marauding bandits.
- Or, it's two rival families who have to battle it out for control of this wild west homestead.
Whatever the objective, one thing is for sure, it is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better, so "saddle up and hit the trail, there's a new sheriff in town"

Our latest playing zone is receiving rave reviews from lots of our customers.
This field contains 12 tanks and gives all players the opportunity to play a new field, with a variety of different gaming options.
Tank Main Game Objective
This field's objective gives you the chance to capture as many tanks as possible to give your team the victory.
The Paintball Jungle bridge game has 4 crossing points, each different, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The pillar box is a solid, stilted enclosure with long open ramps for access - getting in is easy, getting out is another matter.
Each team starts between their own set of goal posts and are in possession of 2 footballs displaying their team's colours. The game objective being to take the footballs over one of the river crossings.
They can be carried until they reach the other side of the crossing then they must be put on the floor and kicked the rest of the way.
Then once on the other side the team has to score a goal in the apposing teams goal. The opposing team can have a goalkeeper who is allowed to catch the ball when struck, however they cannot approach the oncoming player but can shoot him out.
Once a goal is scored the ball is out, once a save is made the ball is out, the winning team will be the team that scores 2 goals first.
The Paintball Jungle Village is a sight to behold. Built over undulating ground there are in excess of 40 village dwellings, with a large 4 room Village Hall in the centre. Either side of the village are two rival gang houses, they are larger than the village huts and can easily house up to 25 people.
The buildings are so dense that you can't see from one side to the other or from one end to the other. Some of the huts have more than one way in and out, all have windows, some on all four sides.
The Village Hall has multiple entrances and exits, windows on all sides and internal dividing walls. This means that you could quite easily be in there at the same time as opposing players.
This field is great for having an element of surprise, but remember, the element of surprise works for both teams.

Bunker hill is the second largest playing zone on the site and is possibly one of the hardest to win.
Over 2000 sand bags create a network of strategically placed bunkers across the diamond shaped field. Set across the middle of the field are a selection of wild horses (timber cut out for all you animal lovers!). Each team has a 2 floor pillar box constructed from 100s of sand bags.
The paintball's link with the past. On the C.Q.B. you will find one of the 1st game objectives ever used in paintball in the UK. Its a shame to say that some paintball sites still only play this game format, the format in question is the good old-fashioned capture the flag game.
We're not dissing our roots but after a couple of flag games you need more of a tactical challenge to keep you buzzing.
